Description Emaguard 57 ME has emamectin benzoate that acts by stomach ingestion and contact mode of action. It acts by stimulating the release of acids (glutamate-gated chloride channels) that inhibit neurotransmitters, causing flaccid paralysis in the insect within hours of ingestion, which stops feeding and dies.     Emaguard 57 ME Mode of Action Acts by ingestion and contact.
