Description This is a complete front end twin disc conversion kit for Symoto model bikes that use 12" wheels with Fast ace forks. This kit consists of Twin disc front wheel, 2 x 220mm Floating discs, Right hand caliper mount for fork leg and complete front brake assembly with 2 x calipers. The front wheel is 12" and 2.15" wide. It has a 15mm axle and is supplied with a removable cnc machined hub to attach the right hand disc. This can be removed if you wish to ever run single disc. The brake assembly uses a high performance master cylinder with 2 twin piston brake assemblies which are 51mm between center to attach to the forks. Lastly included is a second brake mount that you replace on your forks to allow the installation of 2 calipers. This kit is a bolt on for our Symoto bikes but could possibly be used on other models. There are a couple of things to take into account when ordering this kit, Firstly on the right hand brake mount you will only have 2 bolts to be able to attach the fork guard/protector. Secondly you will need to change your front axle as this will now use a regular 15mm axle bolt, We do sell these in our other listings. Lastly on the right hand hub mount you will be required to make a small notch to allow the rivets of the disc to clear. This is pictured to demonstrate what is needed. This kit is also offered in our other listings with twin standard discs if you want the product a little cheaper with a slight compromise in performance.
