Each kit contains 250 idents of each colour, totaling 2500 pieces total. Mil spec MIL-STD-681F colour coding designated the colours to the following numbers: Ident Colour Number Value Black 0 Brown 1 Red 2 Orange 3 Yellow 4 Green 5 Blue 6 Violet 7 Grey 8 White 9 Using these colours you can create large numbers easily for harnesses or connectors with a large number of wires. * May 2025 Update – Some product images are using the old cases, this is representative, and is not the case that will be used.
