Description This harness is designed for people who want a high quality harness and are up for the challenge of building it themselves. Made entirely from Spec 55 (Tefzel) this harness is made from the highest grade of wire and is perfect for the demands of vehicles competing in motorsport. It will also ensure you have a reliable and dependable harness in your engine swapped or custom wired car. The cut to length harness has a set of ECU connectors at one end and unterminated wires at the other. All the wires at the unterminated end have coloured idents to aid with quick identification when assembling your harness. Connect your ECU to the terminated end and follow your wiring diagram for all the engine connections.   Spec 55 Wire uses an Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) insulation. Spec 55 was developed for high temperature airframe and avionics, its ETFE insulation has great resistance to high PH cleaning fluids, fuels, lubricating oils, and many other chemicals. Being a single layer, the insulation is incredibly thin, but due to its robustness the risk of breaking through the insulation layer is low. Meaning you have a very small and lightweight wire, with more protection than some of the thicker insulations. This lightweight, heat and abrasion resistant wire is perfect for use in motorsport as it combines all of the best aspects of other wires in terms of size and mechanical properties. Once purchased a link to the ECU pinout and relevant wiring colours will be sent through so you can plan your harness.
