Description Kapton tape is a heat resistant tape perfect for the manufacturing of wiring looms. As it is heat resistant it can be used to secure wiring before heat shrink is applied, allowing looms to be laid and finalised before the final step of heat shrinking is undertaken without having to remove the Kapton tape beforehand. The thin footprint also means that it is almost unnoticeable on the final loom. If you do need to remove the tape it leaves no residue.
