The IMS “Big Bang” (BB) B70 Series is a precision-engineered filter basket designed for standard 58mm commercial portafilters. This competition-grade basket features a unique hole distribution pattern that increases the distance between holes from the center to the edge. This innovative spacing forces water to flow more through the center of the puck, correcting the common tendency for side-channeling and promoting a sweeter, more even extraction. Compatibility These baskets feature a standard 70mm border (B70) and fit most 58mm commercial groups, including: E61 Group Machines: Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Lelit, Faema, Expobar, etc. Other Commercial Groups: La Marzocco, Slayer, Synesso, Nuova Simonelli, Victoria Arduino, Rancilio. This ensures the basket is easy to clean, highly resistant to corrosion, and allows the spent coffee puck to knock out cleanly.
