This is the official replacement stainless steel mesh screen for the Weber Workshops BIRD brewer. Designed as a permanent filtration solution, this screen allows you to brew without paper waste while unlocking a distinctively different flavor profile from your coffee. Unlike paper filters which absorb coffee oils and produce a tea-like clarity, this chemically etched stainless steel mesh allows those aromatic oils to pass into the cup. The result is a brew with significantly higher body, a richer texture, and a “French Press” style mouthfeel, but with the clean finish typical of the BIRD’s no-bypass vacuum process.
