Fragrance: Sweet bush sour cherries with subtle hints of peach and earthy notes. Taste: Sweet hints of licorice and almonds, reminiscent of marzipan and sugared cherries (cherry jam), with a touch of peach and a subtle peppery note. The finish is a delightful blend of fruit and almonds. It’s reminiscent of that village in Gaul. It’s all about independence, fairness, and protecting the environment. Instead of large plantations, with support from gebana, small fields ranging from 0.25 to 1.5 hectares in size are nurturing the first organic, fair-trade cocoa in Togo. This is a small revolution on the African continent and one of our passion projects.
